FAQ
Account and Login
What should I do if I haven’t received my activation or enrollment email?
You can try accessing your existing account by resetting your password:
- Go to the platform’s login page.
- Select Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address used for your enrollment.
- Open the password reset email and follow the link to set a password.
- Sign in and open My Learning Journey to find your courses or program.
Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders if the email does not appear in your inbox.
Can I sign in with my Google account?
Yes, if you enrolled with a Google email, please use the Google sign-in option on the platform's login page.
- Open the login page and select the Google option.
- Choose the Google account with the same email address used for your enrollment.
- Complete any sign-in steps requested by Google.
How do I reset my password?
If you use an email address and a platform password:
- Open the platform’s login page.
- Select Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Open the password reset email and follow its link.
- Set your new password, following the requirements shown on the screen.
The reset link is valid for 24 hours. If you request more than one reset email, use the most recent link; earlier links become invalid. Request a new link if yours has expired.
If you are already signed in, you can also change your password in your account settings under Account Security.
How do I update my name, email address, or profile photo?
Open your account settings from the Profile menu, then go to Personal details and select Edit.
- Name: Update your name and save your changes. Use your full name so your learning records identify you correctly.
- Email address: Update the email field if it is editable, then save. Use an address you can access regularly.
- Profile photo: Select the photo update option, upload an image, and save. Use a JPG or PNG file no larger than 2 MB.
If a field is unavailable or you cannot save your changes, submit the support form.
We do not recommend changing your name or your email address if the access was provided by your educational institution or company.
Where do I report a login or access issue?
Use the technical support form on this page. Include the email you use to log in, the course or page link, and a screenshot of any error message.
Courses, Access and Progress
Where can I find my enrolled courses or program?
- Sign in and open My Learning Journey from the platform menu. This is the place to find the learning available to your account.
- If you are enrolled in a program, you will see the courses included in your learning path. Follow the order shown where sequential progression applies.
You can also return to your recent learning from the Dashboard using Continue Where I Left Off button.
If something you expected to access is missing from My Learning Journey, submit the support form and contact the educational organization or company that arranged your enrollment.
Why is the next lesson or unit locked?
A locked lesson usually means that a previous required activity has not yet been marked complete.
Check the course outline for an earlier incomplete activity, then open it and meet its completion requirements. For example:
- Read the ebook or text activity within the course player.
- Watch the video from beginning to end.
- Finish the practice test with a score of 100%.
- Complete and submit any required form or assessment.
If the next unit in a program is locked, check whether you have completed all the requirements for the previous one, including its final test where required.
Use the completion indicators in the outline to check what remains. If you have met the requirements but the next step is still locked, submit the support form with the course title, activity title, and a screenshot of the locked step.
How long do I have access to my courses or program?
Your access period depends on the terms of your enrollment. Refer to the program guide or Terms & Conditions provided by IMB School, your educational organization, or your company for the access period that applies to you.
When you access courses through a program, the program’s access period applies to those courses within the program.
Can I revisit completed lessons and courses?
Open the relevant course or program from My Learning Journey, then use its course outline to select a completed activity. You can review the material to refresh your knowledge or prepare for an assessment.
Revisiting a completed lesson is different from retaking a test. Practice tests can be repeated, while final test retakes are subject to their attempt limits.
Completing a course or program does not automatically extend its access period. If your access has expired, submit the support form and contact the organization that arranged your training to ask about your options.
How do I start or resume my learning?
Start from your Dashboard after signing in. If you have already started learning, select Continue Where I Left Off to return to your recent learning activity. Check the course and activity you are opening, then continue through the course player.
- Open My Learning Journey.
- Select the course or the first unit of the program to study.
- Open the first available activity, or the next activity you have not completed.
Why can’t I see the course or program I was enrolled in?
First, open My Learning Journey and check for the course or program there.
- Submit the support form. Include your full name, registered email address, and the title of the missing course or program.
- Contact your educational organization or company. Ask the person who arranged your training to confirm your enrollment and the email address used.
What do I need to do for an activity to be marked complete?
The requirement depends on the type of activity:
- Ebooks and text activities: Read the content within the course player. Allow time for your reading activity to register; opening the ebook and immediately leaving it may not be enough for it to be marked complete. After reading the content, click the Next button.
- Videos: Watch the full video from beginning to end within the course player. Jumping to the final seconds may leave the activity incomplete.
- Practice tests: Complete and submit the test with a score of 100%. You have unlimited attempts, so you can review the lesson and try again until you pass.
- Final tests: Complete and submit the test and achieve the passing score specified in its instructions.
- Forms and surveys, where required: Complete the requested fields and submit the form.
Where can I track my progress?
You can check your progress at two levels:
- In My Learning Journey: Find the course or program you are enrolled in and review the progress information displayed for it.
- Inside the course player: Use the course outline to see which activities are completed and which still need to be finished. This is the most useful place to check why a later lesson is locked.
Do I need to complete lessons and units in a specific order?
Yes. Lessons within each course or unit must be completed in the order shown in the course outline.
This means you need to meet the completion requirements for the current activity before the next one becomes available. Depending on the activity, you may need to read an ebook, watch a video in full, or pass a practice test.
You can return to activities you have already completed while your access remains active.
Languages and Learning Materials
How do I change the platform language?
Use the language selector in the platform’s main navigation (bottom of the screen) and choose one of the available languages (English or Spanish at the moment). This changes the language of the interface, such as navigation labels, buttons, and system messages.
If you are inside a learning activity and cannot see the language selector, return to a main platform page to change the language, then reopen your learning.
Does changing the platform language also change the course language?
No. The platform language and the language of your learning content are separate.
Changing the platform language changes interface elements. It does not automatically translate video audio, ebooks, assessment questions, or other learning materials. Titles, descriptions, and discussion posts may also remain in their original language.
For example, choosing English for the interface does not turn Spanish-language learning materials into English-language materials. To study the content in another language, you need access to the corresponding language version, where one is offered.
Can I download course materials or study offline?
You can download files that have been made available with a download link or attachment option. These may include supporting documents or other reference materials.
Tests and Assessments
What is the difference between a practice test and a final test?
A practice test helps you check your understanding as you work through the learning content.
- Questions appear one at a time.
- You submit each answer before moving to the next question.
- You receive immediate feedback on your response.
- You must achieve 100% to complete the activity.
- You have unlimited attempts, so you can review the material and try again.
A final test assesses your understanding at the end of a defined part of your training.
- Questions appear one at a time.
- You can review earlier questions before submitting.
- Your answers are submitted together at the end.
- The standard passing score is 70% or 75%, depending on a course or program you study.
- You have max. 5 attempts. You see your overall score, what questions you got wrong and whether you passed after submission. Final tests do not provide feedback, correct answers, or a downloadable feedback report.
Read the instructions before starting each assessment, including any requirements specific to your training.
What score do I need to pass a practice test or final test?
The standard passing scores are:
- Practice tests: 100%. All answers must be correct for the activity to be completed.
- Final tests: 70% or 75%. You must meet or exceed this score to pass.
If you do not pass a practice test, review the relevant material and try again. Practice tests have unlimited attempts.
If you do not pass a final test, you can retake it while you have attempts remaining, up to the five-attempt limit.
Any different requirement explicitly stated in your assessment instructions applies to that assessment. Check those instructions before you begin.
How many times can I retake a test?
Practice tests have unlimited attempts. You can repeat them as needed to reach the required score of 100%.
Final tests allow up to 5 attempts in total. The first attempt counts toward that limit.
Before using another final test attempt, review the relevant learning materials. Use practice tests to strengthen your understanding of topics you found difficult.
If you have used all your final test attempts without passing, submit the support form and contact the coach, the educational organization or company that arranged your training. Additional attempts are not granted automatically.
If a technical problem interrupted an attempt, report it so support can check the recorded assessment status.
Can I review or change my answers before submitting a test?
The process differs between practice tests and final tests.
Practice tests
Review your answer before submitting each question. Answers are submitted one at a time, and feedback appears as you work through the test.
You can use Previous to revisit earlier questions and review their responses or feedback. This does not turn the test into a single set of unsubmitted answers that you can revise at the end. To improve your result, review the material and take the practice test again.
Final tests
You can use Previous and Next to move between questions and review or change your answers before final submission.
When you have finished checking your answers, select Submit and confirm your submission in the confirmation window. Your answers are then submitted together. Once the final test has been submitted, you cannot edit that attempt. Any permitted retake is a new attempt.
Will I receive feedback or see the correct answers after a test?
Practice tests. You receive immediate feedback as you answer questions. This can show whether your response was correct and include an explanation to help you understand the topic. You can also see your overall result at the end.
The correct answers are not displayed as an answer key. Use the feedback and learning materials to work out why an answer was correct or incorrect before trying again.
Final tests. You see your overall score, what questions you got wrong and whether you passed after submission. Final tests do not provide feedback, correct answers, or a downloadable feedback report.
This distinction allows practice tests to support learning while final tests assess your understanding.
What happens if I use all my final test attempts without passing?
The assessment remains incomplete, and you cannot start another attempt automatically.
If you have used all available attempts, contact the educational organization or company that arranged your enrollment to ask whether additional retake options are available. Depending on the terms of your enrollment, additional attempts may be subject to approval, specific conditions, or additional fees.
What should I do if I lose my internet connection while taking a test?
Restore your connection, sign in to the same account if needed, and reopen the same assessment.
Final tests are configured to support recovery of saved, in-progress answers within a recovery window. However, an answer entered just before the connection was lost may not have reached the platform.
Certificates
What do I need to complete to earn my certificate?
If your training includes a certificate, you must meet all its completion requirements.
These normally include:
- Reading all required ebooks and text activities.
- Watching all required videos in full.
- Passing every required practice test with 100%.
- Passing every required final test at the stated passing score.
- Submitting any other required activities or forms.
For a full program, complete the requirements throughout the entire learning path, including all required modules and units. To know the details, check out the program’s academic guide on My Learning Journey page.
Once the requirements are met, open the certificate activity or certificate section and follow any instructions shown. If you are asked to confirm your name, check its spelling before proceeding.
If you have completed the requirements but cannot access your certificate, submit the support form with the title of your training and a screenshot of your completion status.
Will I receive a certificate for each course or for the entire program?
For training delivered as a program, you receive one certificate for the full program after completing all its requirements. The individual modules and units within that program do not receive separate certificates.
For standalone training that includes certification, you receive the certificate associated with that enrollment once you meet its requirements.
The certificate therefore reflects the training you were enrolled in and completed. Finishing an individual part of a program does not mean that you have completed the full program.
Where can I find and download my certificate?
Once your certificate has been awarded, you can access it through the certificate activity in your learning path or on My Certificates page.
We recommend downloading and saving a copy of your certificate as soon as it becomes available, especially if your access to the platform is time-limited.
Community, Discussions, and Messages
Where can I ask questions about the course content?
Use the discussion area connected to the material you are studying. Open the relevant learning content and look for the Discuss tab. This helps keep your question connected to the right topic.
Before posting, check whether someone has already asked the same question. When you post, include the activity title and, for a video, the timestamp you are referring to.
Use the Discussions area for broader conversations, shared insights, and questions relevant to the available community spaces.
How do I send and read private messages?
You are able to contact coaches and tutors if that opportunity is included in your enrollment. However, we recommend using public discussion for the question about the learning content and the support form for the technical issues.
To read or reply to a message:
- Open Inbox.
- Select the conversation you want to read.
- Enter your reply in the message field.
- Select Send.
To start a new conversation:
- Select the new message option.
- Search for the recipient by name and select the correct person.
- Write your message and select Send.
Who answers course questions, and is tutor support included in my enrollment?
Other learners may contribute answers and share their perspectives in discussion spaces.
For training, where staff participation or tutor support is included, an IMB School team member or assigned tutor may also respond.
Technical Help
What should I do if a video won’t play or I can’t hear the audio?
First, check whether the problem affects one video or several.
If the video will not play:
- Check your internet connection and allow the video time to load.
- Select the play button directly.
- Reopen the video activity.
- If a quality selector is available, try a lower video quality.
- Try an updated browser or another device.
- If needed, try a private browsing window to check whether browser extensions or stored browser data are affecting playback.
If the video plays without sound:
- Check that the video player is not muted.
- Check your device volume and whether the browser tab is muted.
- Check the selected audio output, especially if you use headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
- Try playing other audio on the same device to identify whether the issue is specific to the video.
If the problem continues, submit the support form with the video title, device and browser details, any error message, and whether other videos work.
What should I do if a lesson, test, or resource won’t load?
First, check whether the activity is locked or whether it fails to load. A locked activity may require you to complete an earlier activity. Check the learning outline and finish any outstanding requirements before trying again.
If the activity should be available but does not load:
- Check your internet connection.
- Return to My Learning Journey and reopen the relevant learning content.
- If you are not in the middle of an assessment, refresh the page.
- Try another updated browser or a private browsing window.
- Check whether an extension is blocking the content. If appropriate, temporarily disable it for the platform.
- If the problem persists, clear the platform’s cached files and restart your browser.
For a missing or broken resource, note its title and the activity where it should appear.
Submit the support form if the issue continues, including the page or activity title, any error message, and the steps you have already tried.
Which devices and browsers can I use to access the platform?
You can access the platform through a web browser on a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. We strongly recommend a laptop or desktop computer so you have more space to review content and navigate questions.
Use an up-to-date mainstream browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari, and keep your device’s operating system updated.
Who should I contact for technical or account support?
Contact the IMB School support team through the support form for issues such as:
- Signing in or resetting your password.
- Missing learning access.
- Videos, activities, assessments, or resources that do not work.
- Progress that has not updated correctly.
- Account details or certificate errors.
Use the discussion or tutor contact channel specified in your learning guide for questions about the learning content.
